The Yanmar Air-to-Water Gas Heat Pump (Chiller) delivers ideal temperature control for both hot and cold water directly from a single unit (no cooling tower required). Using Yanmar’s Waste Heat Recovery Technology, the system automatically recovers the thermal energy from unit, providing hot water to for domestic hot water (DHW) or other hydronic heating applications.
With lower operating and infrastructure costs and greater efficiency, Yanmar's Air-to-Water Gas Powered Heat Pump system offers substantially lower system life cycle costs compared to electric systems in the market today. In fact, our Yanmar system reduces overall operating costs by 30% - 70% depending on local utility costs. The Yanmar GHP Chiller is perfect for new installations but, can also replace an existing chiller and boiler systems just as easily. The all-in-one package reduces installation space, because one GHP Chiller unit can replace a cooling tower, chiller and boiler (no cooling tower required). Existing water piping in the building can be used for direct connection to the GHP Chiller.
